MIZKAST exists to provide disabled young people who are disempowered and vulnerable with a safe space to express themselves artistically, using the Arts as a tool for self empowerment, self transformation, a voice of influence and social change. Young people look at a variety of themes, personal stories and social injustices to inspire their stories. It is from these stories that characters, scripts and projects are created. MIZKAST are young people who have been given a platform to express themselves and to use their voices to raise awareness of Queer stories, social prejudices and to comment on the experiences of living life as a young person in today's society
